Reservoir. 2017

The piece highlights the history of relocation of the Old Glenford Church building from the site of then-planned Ashokan reservoir to its current location in the early 20th century. An optical lens cast out of ice is suspended above the copper tray and slowly drips melting water, filling the bowl in the form of a silhouette of the reservoir and submerging the tiny diamond that indicates the original location of the church on the lake bed map.
