Spectacle series re-purposes antique optical apparatus like opera binoculars, map readers, telescopes, microscopes and other found vintage instruments into food implements with magnifying and reducing optical features. 60 individually unique art utensils were created for an art/design/food event organized by Steinbeisser, celebrating California's Bay Area's sustainable agriculture and farm-to-table cuisine, and highlighting the experience of conscious dining.
