Full of Empty. 2016
The project addresses the alternating cycles of water in the rain garden section of an urban park. The piece alludes to the history of the impoverished neighborhood and its ongoing re-development. The piece is composed of long chains of interlocking soup spoons lining the beds of runoff channels. The stream of reflective spoons will follow and highlight the patterns of water flow among vegetation of the rain garden.
