A lotus seed—alive and latent—is sealed within a vessel of pure recycled gold, preserving the possibility of regeneration millennia into the future.
Its twin, shaped from coal drawn from the melting permafrost of the Svalbard Archipelago, remains open. Upon gifting, it will be sealed shut with a cast gold seed inside—an imprint of life transformed by fire.
